The Department of Pediatric Surgery is led by eminent and well-experienced surgeons to meet paediatric surgical emergencies.

• Services offered by the department include general paediatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery (diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy) and complex surgeries like jejunal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, thoracotomy and decortication, adrenalectomy, hypospadias repair, pyeloplasty, nephrectomy, etc.
• It is supported by the Department of Paediatrics, caring for surgical neonates in a well equipped NICU.
